A few years ago, during a sweltering summer afternoon, I found myself in the comforting shadow of an old banyan tree, sharing stories with my children. One tale, in particular, struck a deep chord. It was about a revered teacher who spent his life illuminating the minds of those around him. Every day, our family would gather under this tree, its vast canopy a symbol of wisdom’s shade, to discuss not just what we knew about the world, but what we could learn from it. This ritual, this thirst for understanding, taught me that knowledge is indeed light—and it has the transformative power to illuminate our paths, refine our judgment, and deepen our connections with one another.

Today, I invite you to explore this very notion of knowledge as light. How does it illuminate our lives? In what ways does it expand our consciousness and strengthen our purpose?
